Jade Park Angus
Jade Park Angus is run by Andrew, Lisa and their two boys; Sam and Angus. The farm is situated on 1000 acres in Hansonville, at the entrance to the King Valley, in the picturesque North East Victoria.
We have been establishing our herd since 1993, the year of the big flood, based on genetics from Millah Murrah Angus, Comfort Hill, Ardrossan and Blackmores Angus. Since then we have expanded the stud year by year; currently we run a spring calving herd with all stud females AI’d and a strong embryo transfer program each year.
The focus of Jade Park is to breed functional, fertile cattle with a strong emphasis on a natural, docile temperament. We strive for a phenotype with natural thickness and muscle expression while ensuring structural soundness is non-negotiable. Often the focus for genetic selection is solely on the bull, however we aim to breed great females who have a strong pedigree to produce a consistent, reliable line-up of bulls.

They have such a consistent type with a strong head, large scrotal and thick, deep muscle through the back third. A real sires presence!
Lot 13 will certainly add some power to your cows, his early maturity and extra muscle placed him top 3 for average daily weight gain against the rest of his mob of bulls.
And in case you are wondering how the Complete daughters look, it's safe to say they are the thickest, deepest, most hippo-like females we have seen for a long time!

The long wait is finally over and we are proud to put forward 8 sons of our Agri-Gene semen sire Turbo.
Life is less stressful when things are predictable and consistent - this is exactly how Turbo has proven to breed. He ticks the key foundational elements which are needed for a successful breeding program:
1. Calm and quiet progeny who are easy to handle from birth
2. Calving ease from a combination of low birth weight, earlier calving and smooth shouldered front end
3. Structural soundness which is imperative for any self-replacing herd.
What makes Turbo special is after the foundations are correct, he brings the added benefit of shorter days to calving, larger scrotal size, IMF of +3.7 and an attractive muscle pattern.
Our lot 3 bull - V164 - is a terrific representation of our Turbo progeny with a data set equally as impressive! Don't forget about lot 3's dam who is a cornerstone donor cow with 11 bulls of her own in the sale and a docility EBV of +39.
