Jade Park Angus

Jade Park Angus is run by Andrew, Lisa and their two boys; Sam and Angus. The farm is situated on 1000 acres in Hansonville, at the entrance to the King Valley, in the picturesque North East Victoria.

We have been establishing our herd since 1993, the year of the big flood, based on genetics from Millah Murrah Angus, Comfort Hill, Ardrossan and Blackmores Angus. Since then we have expanded the stud year by year; currently we run a spring calving herd with all stud females AI’d and a strong embryo transfer program each year.

The focus of Jade Park is to breed functional, fertile cattle with a strong emphasis on a natural, docile temperament. We strive for a phenotype with natural thickness and muscle expression while ensuring structural soundness is non-negotiable. Often the focus for genetic selection is solely on the bull, however we aim to breed great females who have a strong pedigree to produce a consistent, reliable line-up of bulls.

~ Beef Week 2026 ~

Date: Thursday, January 29th 9am-4pm
Location: 1468 Wangaratta-Kilfeera Road, Hansonville, 3675 (Same location as the Bull Sale)

We are looking forward to showcasing 50 Angus bulls who will be going under the hammer at our 2026 Annual Bull Sale on Tuesday, March 31st 2026!

This year we are proud to offer the first progeny for sale of Agri-Gene semen sire Jade Park Turbo and Breeder Genetics semen sire Turiroa Complete. We have a strong New Zealand influence again with 4 different NZ sires contributing 18 of the 50 sale bulls - so expect plenty of capacity and thickness like the bull Maz is inspecting in the photo below!

Over 50% of the sale bulls this year are considered heifer bulls but don't miss out on a powerful bull, perfectly suited to your herd, because of an single extra kg of birthweight.

Further information including links to Angus Australia and Auctionsplus catalogues can be found on our website: www.jadepark.com.au/2026-bull-sale-tuesday-31-march-2026/

A great way to start off the new year with amazing client results at the January weaner sales across Northeast Victoria.
Despite the challenging season the weaners presented well and prices remained strong.

At the Wangaratta Angus feature sale, Rylin Pty presented a great run of 70 head averaging 522c/kg whilst at the coloured weaner sale Steven Street put forward the best presented pen of black baldy weaners averaging 495c/kg.

Congratulations to all all of our clients who presented cattle and we are looking forward to seeing everyone at our 2026 Bull Sale which is fast approaching on the 31st of March!
